New desktop wallpapers everyday from Flickr, Panoramio and more
Are you tired of always having the same desktop background photo? Try Wally and see what it can do for you!
Wally is an automatic wallpaper changer with a very particular characteristic: it grabs images from several sources, not only selected folders and files in your local drive, but also several online sources like Flickr, Yahoo!, Panoramio and more. Also, the program gives you the possibility to save the downloaded images to your local drive.
The good thing about Wally is that it's like having endless wallpapers for your computer. The bad thing is that you can't really choose them – except for the images in your hard drive, of course.
The program does feature some configuration settings with which you can filter the images that are going to be used, but as there's no preview you don't actually know what image has been chosen until it's finally displayed on the screen. This is the kind of uncertainty that will please some users, but which some others will find extremely annoying. On the downside, Wally was a bit unstable during our tests, and tended to crash if we wanted to select the picture manually.
Wally selects photos from various sources, both online and offline, so that you can have a different desktop background every day.

Does exactly what I was looking for..
I use Vista and just wanted something to rotate my beautiful wallpapers in random orders. I was a bit hesitant to download because it sounds like it forces you to view website photos as well - but no, you can choose to just use your folders/photos.
Pros:
Ability to choose photos by folder or file, several languages supported, ability to choose rotation speed in seconds, minutes or hours, and of course - it's free.
Cons:
No cons for Wally, but let's talk about softonic itself - I really really really hate websites that make you download a *downloader* in order to get the program - and then tries to get you to download their crapware (c'mon, Norton? Seriously?) and toolbars. Yes, I can opt out, but it's hideous and ugly and a standard with a pretty lousy reputation, so it's a bad first impression for softonic itself. Thus it gets a '1' in the installation rating category. More

It seems childish (I don't want to say stupid) your review about Wally, and, moreover, about JBS, that is much better than Wally.I mean .. don't you like the idea that your background is changing randomly? Ok, don't use it. But, please, evaluate the software according to its purpose. It just as you don't like Word cause you think that typing document is useless.I've received congratulations and criticism, but I've never received a feedback like that. Thank God, googling around the web, I found out that you're the only one.
Pros:
Free
Cons:
No one, AFAIK. More
